Variable Speed Drives
AC Speed Drive (also known as Variable frequency drive -VFD) is a device used to control the rotational speed of an AC (alternating current) motor by controlling the frequency of the electrical power supplied to the motor.
By using AC drives to regulate the speed of AC motors, these motors can be used in a variety of applications, where single speed motors would not work.
